A Westchester woman was cracked in the head with a bottle as she walked to work in the Bronx, police said.
The 47-year-old Mount Vernon woman was the victim of a random attack as she walked down E. 242 St. near Barnes Ave. in Wakefield just before 9 a.m. April 3, cops said.
“It was a learning experience for me,” the victim told the Daily News. “Commuting on the bus and the train can be very dangerous. Your life can change on your way to work.”
