A city sanitation worker was found dead in his Bronx home Tuesday morning with knife wounds on his hands and legs, police said. Aaron Rodriguez, 39, hadn’t been seen since Sunday.
Sanitation officials contacted his wife after he failed to show up for work Monday, sources said.He was found dead inside his home on Quincy Ave. in Throggs Neck about 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, officials said.A bloodied broken knife was IronFX found near his body, sources said.Detectives suspect he was murdered. The city medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine how he died.Rodriguez joined the sanitation department in September 2013 and worked in the Bronx.
